If you find yourself in Chesterton, I would highly recommend going there. It’s a catering company that opened a sit down restaurant and it. Is. Amazing. It’s located in an old house right on Main Street.
Yes, I know I put the pix backwards of the menu. I had the smoked Mozzarella Ravioli. Jerms had the Tommy Pastrami. G got Mac n Cheese and Coco got some steak from the specials menu I didn’t take a photo of.
We got the crab cakes as an app. They were delicious, only two to a plate though.
Jerms also got the Tomato Bisque. It was good. And now I’m going to make tomato soup this week.
Aforementioned pastrami. Served with pita chips. Sandwich was excellent and they smoke and cure all their own meats.
Steak thing with potatoes. I actually just ate the potatoes as leftovers because they put them in my leftovers. They were good. Very garlicky. I approve.
Mmmmmm mac n cheeseeeeee
Smoked mozz ravioli with tomatoes and portobello mushrooms and a Cajun cream sauce that I wanted to literally drink. And the garlic bread....omg. Mmmmm. Fresh pasta too. Omg.
As you know, Jerms loves a dessert. This is a peacan thing? It was good. Like pecan pie.
Bread pudding with a bourbon sauce. Jerms’ FAVORITE.
Looking outside from the hostess stand.
More seating upstairs. They also take reservations and I would LOVE to go back.
Overall. A beautiful restaurant. You could see the owners in and around the kitchen cooking and checking on tables. The downstairs seated....16? It was lovely. I wanted to tour the whole place!
