La Cena de Familia

Last Sunday despues de la Iglesias, I went over to Reef and Kiki's por una cena de familia a Los Burritos Arandas en Oswego. They have been there several times, but I never had previously. It's literally like thirteen seconds from their house and I only had to make one left, so a win. Don't mind my terrible broken Spanish. Estoy practicando. Terribly.
This is Burritos Arandas' secondary locacĂon. The other is right down the street in....Montgomery? I think? That taqueria is called Arandas Tacos, and it has an online menu. As you can see, it's a fairly simple menu, and VERY reasonable.
In this trip, I learned that there is a rhyme y reason of how Karen chooses her seat at a restaurant. Apparently, it depends on where the server stands and then she sits in the opposite side? She doesn't want to get in the way. She was als heavily invested in a Spanish program that had snowmobiles falling and flipping down a mountain with people flying off of them and skiers almost dying in the process. It was good times. Karen surprised me by getting chicken flautas. I've never seen her get those before....they were really good, not too chickeny. I didn't try the rice or beans but Lily and Reef did and I think they liked it?
Lily had a steak taco with only cheese, which I believe is her usual. Did I mention Karen asked for a side of sour cream? She really loves sour cream.

Reef and I split this giant plate of al pastor nachos. They were really good and I liked that they had cheese sauce on them. Mmmmm I had some trouble at one point because my chips kept breaking but I PERSEVERED.

It was muy delicioso. I also felt like I needed to pose crazily with a lot of limes...

I was also road testing a new Urban Decay Vice lipstick. It's number 503? 305? I forget the name. Who cares? It's purty.
Post dinner, Kiki and I headed over to the show to watch Sixteen Candles. We did eat vast amounts of popcorn. Mmmmmmmmmmmm none of which we took photos of.

We sat in the recliner section per Reef's suggestion which was AWESOME.
Other awesome things:
1. Only ones in theater
2. Apparently there is a bar now in the theater
3. Wasn't too cold
4. Off topic but they had like, the D team working. The kids taking our popcorn order seemed like they had never worked there before.
5. In sixteen candles on the big screen you notice lots of other things like, John Cusack and other nerd friend wearing opposite pieces of pajamas. Or the mysterious popcorn in background shots. Or various other "wtf" that makes no sense moments. Ha!
6. I kept calling Samantha "Andie" and also kept asking where Duckie was....
7. I don't even know what else.

Overall, fun family dinner. And Burritos Arandas was fantastico!
