Randomness/lunch on the fly

 

The other day at work I was lucky enough to do the food run.

A co-worker and I picked Sandwich Center (which, I think Reef has written about before if I remember correctly). 

It's pretty delicious and also is decorated like an old times diner. 

It's been on the West Side of Aurora for a billion years (or since 1962. Close enough) and I've only been there a few times. But WORTH IT. (Remember that diet I'm pretending to do? Ha!) 

 

 

 

Interestingly their fountain only had Pepsi products.....anyways. I had the STEAK SANDWICH. At first when it was recommended to me, I was like I DO NOT LIKE STEAK and my coworker was like ITS ACTUALLY A HAMBURGER. And then I was like OK FINE SOLD. It was actually like a patty melt with a mushroom sauce, cheese and grilled onions. OMG. BEHOLD. 

 Obviously I ate it all. Mmmmm what diet???
