I will be documenting my food adventures here this week in lovely, beautiful Oregon.
First up! The Paddock in Eugene As you may recall Eugene is home of the Ducks so basically everything is Ducks related. Ducks ducks ducks. Wooohoooo! http://www.thepaddockeugene.com/
This bar is no different. However, no sports were on so it wasn’t that busy. We had a good time though. I would totally go there again. Very reasonably priced and the service was good and the server was really sweet.
Classic sports bar (did not take pix of the banquettes we sat in which were green and black) I had a PBR, which was $1.50 for Thirsty Thursday. Well sold right there.
Looks like their weekly specials are pretty good too.
Now for the food. I had an adult grilled cheese which was cheddar, avocado, tomato, bacon and a creamy chipotle mayo (I think). My virtual mom had the wimpy burgers, I think regular Beef Brisket slider. Dad had the shrimp basket which looked yummy AND reminded me of the old days of eating at the moose club and eating shrimp baskets.
Dad also had a Mai Tai, which was only like....$6.
All that being said, would totally go again. Would write more but I was super tired and running on not that much sleep.
