Tuesday night adventure

So went on an adventure for Jerms to purchase some legos from a kid in Western Illinois....and we decided to eat at the good old tasty BEEFAROO.  Now, Jerms had never eaten there before but I had at least once (that I can recall anyway. It was really hot and I was pregnant and I think that the AC was broken??) IDK. 

So. As per usual, I took a million pix of Jerms and our food. 

 He had a wild west beef which I think had onions, bacon and bbq on the roast beef. He enjoyed it.

 I had a buffalo chicken wrap, which was amazing and delicious. Only thing it needed was a little blue cheese inside of it, or maybe some blue cheese dressing.

 I had sweet potato waffle fries  (which were delicious). Jerms had onion rings which were also good and that I did not take photos of.

Then we moseyed on down to the farm. It was a DIRT ROAD ONE LANE TO GET TO IT. Which, TBH was kind of cool and only slightly murdery. It was however absolutely beautiful and lovely out in the country. I can only imagine the stars you can see and the quiet. Much different than here in the city.

Then we went BACK to Beefaroo for dessert. We got the Lemon Blueberry Cookies and also a Monster Shake. The Shake was a Pink Flamingo Shake which was strawberry, with various treats on top. 

 I've never had one of these crazy shakes before. It had two vanilla wafers, a piece of shortcake with whipped cream and a strawberry and then a red velvet cake pop (with tiny pink chocolate chips inside it) and another strawberry.

 It was good, however some of the elements didn't really go with it to us. Like, the cake pop was delicious on its own, but was it supposed to add to the deliciousness? IDK. I would definitely try another shake from Beefaroo though. The cookies were the star of the show. I would go back for those cookies. Buttery, lemony, sugar cookies with blueberries in them. MMMM. So delish.

Anyway. A good time was had by all (me. I also drove ON THE TOLLWAY. For a little bit.) Woot!
