Mr. C's Pub and Grill

Dinner last night after many unsuccessful attempts in the greater Traverse City area (seriously, they roll up the town on Saturdays apparently) was a place in Williamsburg, Michigan. Mr. C's Pub and Grill.  Obviously next to Renee's House of Quilting, which is seriously cracking me up even a day later. I had an Arbor Brewing company Strawberry Blonde, which was NOT ONLY delicious, it was like 7.7% ABV which means extra delicious. Only I didn't know that until my SECOND one which my dad was like YEAH SHE WANTS ANOTHER ONE and then I was like, how am I so drunk? HEY THIS BEER IS GOOD. My dad had another Shorts Brewing Company beer he had the other day, and my mom had something that was a local brew reminiscent of Corona. I didn't take pix or notes. I was tired. SORRY. Speaking of which, there may be a video for you later.
So we got their pub nachos as an app.

So it was like a chili with toppings eaten on fried pita chips. So, not what I would call a traditional nacho but ok. This led to a spirited discussion with my parents about what a traditional nacho is. My dad was telling me to tell Reef to go to a local place because they have awesome pulled pork nachos. It went like this:
Dad: tell reef to go to South Moon. They have awesome nachos. Big giant plate, pulled pork and slaw.
Me: are they like regular nachos with chips and stuff piled on top?
Dad: YES
MOM: NO THEY ARENT LIKE REGULAR NACHOS THEY ARE CHIPS WITH THINGS ON TOP
ME: so a traditional nacho?
Mom; NO
Dad: yeah, that's like a traditional nacho
Mom: no, you don't know what a traditional nacho is
Me and dad: *looking at mom with side eye* THATS WHAT A TRADITIONAL NACHO IS

OMG. Good times. Overall, this was good, but not what I personally like in a nacho.

Then comes the dinner. This place has burgers, flatbread pizza, salads etc.
Mom had...a burger! I think. Drunkypants.

Dad had....I think a turkey sandwich? Drunkypants. Oh no also a burger.
I had a blue cheese salad per the recommendation of the waitress. Tomatoes, bacon, blue cheese, onion. She also recommended mixing the blue cheese dressing with the honey dijon dressing which was EXCELLENT to my drunken palette.

It was good times. I would recommend/go there again though next time I would go to house of quilts drunk and buy some quilty stuff. I don't sew btw so it would be extra funny.
I'm going to copy Reef and start adding hashtags. He's the funny one in this foodmance. (Get it? It's like a bromance but with food? No? Too early for such nonsense? Whatever. SUCK IT)
